Why is there insufficient Personal Protective gear?
The factories are up and producing. Are other agencies stockpiling?

Given that the second wave is starting, this news may be quite premature.
The news just came out that there is a spike in new cases starting in CA.
This may have to be put on hold.

Maybe Caltrain could carry Trump supporters to the rally in Tulsa - and back again. Mass transit - mass infection.

In response to Keeping us prisoners you said:
“The business man- the increase in cases is coming from SoCal.”
The reality is that the increase in any location in California will propagate to the rest given that there is no sequestering of people to only one location. People are still allowed to go anywhere they want, they are only recommended to stay at home. There is no “prisoners” here, and in fact many people are traveling all over California. This is not getting any better yet. You said:
“Though I am sure Sara Cody will try to slow, things down here anyway.”
They are not able to control the virus at all. The only way for THAT to happen is that we all are restricted to staying at home, having all supplies delivered to our homes, and that people are not allowed to leave them ever. That is NOT happening here. You said:
“Oh and it is not a second wave”
I will apologize given the report you provided. But that report is in fact more scary than helping. That report indicates that the rise in rates are in the “FIRST” wave. Epidemiologists know the first waves are far less severe than he second ones. So that news is actually more dangerous as a result.
Your name is not representing the reality. If we were doing the right thing as I said above, you could argue that point. But that would actually get the virus under control, it is not no matter what we think.
