I understand the reasons but I'm still going to miss the paper edition. There's something really nice about having the weekly local paper. Sometimes they make for great time capsule items.
I'm hoping to see the paper paper come back. I would pay.

At her disaster out town hall on the 17th she was evasive and would not give any specifics. All we heard is that we cannot move to,phase 2 because we are in the same situation as we were in in March. And there was no herd immunity or vaccine. Two things, is she suggesting that we remain her prisoner until there is herd immunity or a vaccine? Does dr Cody know how herd immunity is acquired, then to suggest that we are in the same place as we were in March is ridiculous. We have made significant progress against the virus and understand much better how it is spread. By the next morning, it was okay to go to early phase 2. What happened in 24 hours? Probably a call from her boss to set her straight.

This week there was a sweltering heat wave. Did we hear anything about that? Isn’t that a health issue for the county? Cooling centers were opened but the nearest to us here was I. Saratoga?

I am sure Cody was sitting in her air conditioned office trying to figure out how to keep us in lockdown. She does not have to worry about her paycheck or whether she can pay rent or feed her family. Unlike the many many people who have been economically devastated by the pandemic.

And what about face masks? There are reports that countries in Asia succeeded in lowering virus numbers by wearing masks. Why did Cody wait so long to issue suggestions about masks?.

Finally many people applaud Cody for instituting the SIP and how it has saved lives, but what about companies like Facebook, google, Apple, Microsoft etc. they sent people home a week or two before Cody issues her order. How many lives did they save.
