I applaud new, affordable, housing without loosing the parking. I would like to see our council seek out projects that were not created using a square box as the basis for the design. There must be a developer out there who can design a housing complex that looks good that won't break the bank. All it would take is a few small amenities and "out of the box" thinking regarding the shape to make it look like a "home" instead of a "project." It would make a big difference in the desirability of not only the housing development but also the area. After all, it will be with us for many decades to come.

The CEO is a former City of Mountain View management employee.. He may even be getting a city pension. What is he paid as CEO of his "non-profit"?

I hope they build affordable housing. I need it. It would be close to transportation, parks, library and more. It also would not be a huge structure in the neighborhood.
