What are health experts now recommending apart from distancing and covering up? For example, I know they don't yet recommend the potion President Trump claims to have started taking. Vodka may only protect Vladimir Putin. I have heard Vitamin C is good - so is Vitamin D - best spread on skin to be absorbed. Zink could help. One key is to avoid prolonged exposure to alot of the virus - such as in nursing homes or on cruise ships. How about classrooms? Can school children be used to build "herd immunity"? There are tipping points with this virus. Antibodies can be produced with little exposure. But those initial antibodies may not prevent replication and development of disease including terrible symptoms, harm to organs and even excruciating death in ICUs or elsewhere. Of course, while SARS-CO-2 is bad, it may be nothing compared to the next virus ready to "jump" to humans. Nations need to give far higher priority to forestalling and getting ready to mitigate epidemics. That includes remote work, education and other activities as an option if not the new model.

Perhaps supporting public health agencies instead of cutting budgets, and un-muzzling scientists, such as the CDC.

So there is a criteria of ZERO deaths in the last 14 days? That's ridiculous. There are over 2 million people in this county. That could take months to reach. This is simply a number pulled out of a hat without scientific basis, much like most of the rest of it.

The entire purpose of the SIP order was to keep the number of cases within the capacity of the hospitals. Period. We are well within that capacity. The rest of this is mission creep. I am happy to take reasonable measures that are based on scientific data. Otherwise, this is just local authorities making up their own set of rules based on how they "feel". Too bad that doesn't include feeling responsible for the lives they ruin in the process.

Dan, obviously you have no education about public health. Your answer, give everyone a revolver with one bullet and have them spin the chamber and take a shot at their head on day one, then you add another bullet on day 2 and do it again. Until you are dead.

Public health must PROTECT from HEALTH RISK. Not ACCEPT HEALTH RISK.

That is why in many ways for profit health care is very scary, it is a cost benefit balance so that some must die for the rest to live.

IT is called PUBLIC HEALTH PROTECTION and not PUBLIC HEALTH RISK. You said:

They ARE responsible for LIVES and HEALTH, not money. Every life they prolong, every person not infected, and every death that DID NOT OCCUR is their CREDIT. Otherwise you would be criticizing them for the reckless loss of health and death.
