Santa Clara County allows for car parades in time for graduation

Santa Clara County officials are rolling back restrictions this week to allow drive-through celebrations and car parades, opening up the possibility for graduations ceremonies and other celebrations behind the wheel.

With so many more pedestrians walking around their neighborhoods these days for fresh air and exercise, car parades sound like a really dangerous idea. Please obey the speed limits and come to complete stops and all crosswalks and sidewalks and stop signs. Don't proceed until you are sure there are no pedestrians crossing the street. And absolutely no drinking or drugs while driving.
