Surprise / surprise (Not) Associate Superintendent of Educational Services, Navarro - next year rather than wait - "So, yes, huge lesson learned."
This is why this woman is so good. She is a stand-up administrator, willing to stand and admit mistakes and an extremely willingness to 'plan better, plan different' and correct the MISTAKES. Admit the problems.

I trained under thew BTSA (?) new teacher induction program at Woodside high, where Navarro was my trainer and also the AVID mentor/teacher. At that time - she inspired the leaders among those students (who were going to be first-in-their-familes to college). There is less poverty (%) at the high school level, because most families are at a higher earning level, and there are lost of Los Altos wealthy families in the mix. BUT MVLA is Not in the 20 Worst ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT GAP districts in the country - as MVWSD seems to remain. (Reardon / Stanford U. research group)
