Months later they change the guidance on wearing face masks, and on the transmission methods of the virus. We are getting misinformation which will cost lives.

@Steven A Smith
Who are the "they" you are referring to?
My understanding of the early guidance, around late January to early February, where the general public didn't need to wear mask was the knowledge that our medical workers who were starting to see the influx of c-19 patients ramping up would not have enough for themselves. And guess what, that fact became true even with that guidance early on of not to wear masks. Now at this stage where this virus is rampant all over the world and probably millions of people walking around asymptomatic it makes sense to tell everyone to cover up with anything like home made masks, etc.

I hope I have enlightened your world today along with your knowledge.
