I encourage ALL of you who own homes and have no mortgages to do a deep reach and donate to Sunnyvale Community Services and CSA Mountain View. This is ESPECIALLY Directed to those with donor advised funds start granting your money to those in need not your alma mater with a huge endowment. Silicon Valley Community Foundation is a donor advised fund with BILLIONS in assets, time for those donors to submit significant grants. You can’t take it with you.

In this time especially, scammers are hard at work trying to steal your money and other assets. Identity thieves are also rampant. Carefully research so-called "charities" before donating. The City of Mountain View gives some money to the local Community Services Agency. Potential donors might look there - not to some self-serving newcomer.
