Redwood City company shifts operations to make face shields for hospitals

This is a great example of how adaptive the local and international supply chain can be. But it takes months of adaptation to test and go to scale. Within a few more months we may be surprised with adequate supplies, reagents, equipment, etc. I just got an email from Canada about hockey helmet manufacturers producing hospital products such as face shields.
