Nobody is going to jail for cheating on the tests, just for the "way they paid for it"!!

"They pleaded to one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest mail services and wire fraud; and a second count of conspiracy to commit money laundering."

So they pleaded guilty to the same kind of charges the government used to get Al Copone...

There is some justice. Looks like "Izzy" (the gloating daughter) and her mom won't be 'gloating' any longer. Many of the students caught up in the bribery scandal were purportedly in the dark about what their parents were up to — but the criminal complaint alleged Isabelle (aka Izzy) was a willing participant. She should be sharing a cell with mom. At least Georgetown had the sense to dismiss her, would have been class of 2020, daddy should have just made a 2M donation to 'buy' her admission letter, that's the socially acceptable way to buy your kid into an elite school, worked for Jared Kushner at Harvard. Web Link And honestly when you look at the impact this had on their reputation and their 70M networth which included daddy losing his job, a 2M donation would have been the cheaper way out.

I wish investigations would begin on past uber-wealthy graduates who have shown questionable knowledge despite their credentials, as test cheaters are another issue with people who buy their way into schools without having learned the necessary essentials first. They can't pass the test themselves If they haven't learned enough to attend the school legitimately.

Our president is the first one I would want to test. SO HARD to believe he is a graduate with the lack of knowledge of common things he has demonstrated (Never heard of the Pearl Harbor memorial for one example?).

QUOTE: "He graduated in May 1968 with a B.S. in economics."

"B.S" may be the key word here. The rich are buying their way through school and then running everything without having learned the necessities. No WONDER the USA economy is so messed up today. How many other education-cheaters like this are out there screwing us up?

"SO HARD to believe he is a graduate with the lack of knowledge of common things he has demonstrated"

Just yesterday, the Wharton grad (!) informed the entire press corp that he finally absorbed a briefing paper (probably recited to him, a la Condi) and duly recited, with a flourish of an accomplished reality TV actor, that Seoul has a population of 38 million.

"I know South Korea better than anybody."
"It's a very tight - do you know how many people are in Seoul? Do you know how big the city of Seoul is? 38 million people. That's bigger than anything we have."

We must commend our President for entertainment value alone. (Population: 9.776 million - 2017)

I needed the laugh. Thanks, Mr. Persident! Anything else going on these days?
