Testing for those with symptoms is not nearly enough.

25% of those with Covid19 have NO symptoms. We can only get real control with generalised testing and tracing.

Nevertheless, thanks to all who provide this very limited service. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the medical staff in this country.

Their refusal to close the gates at Rancho San Antonio has and is still currently attracting people from as far as Milpitas as shown on the people posting on their FB page.

People drive from Rancho from Miliptas(one example from this weekend on their FB page)then they funnel together with people from many other communities before spreading out far and wide to go back home. Maybe they swing over to Lucky's in Los Altos for some groceries. Maybe they stop in Santa Clara as well for some gas. This is the REALITY of Rancho's open gates

I cannot fathom WHY they insist on keeping those damn gates open. There are ALL the SCIENTIFIC reasons close them and no legitimate reason to keep them open, not the way this virus spreads.

Contact MidPen directly and INSIST they get with the program!

The contact for MidPen is not the above number.
It is 650-691-1200 or email info@openspace.org, or their Facebook page.
If you contact them, please be polite. We're all together in this.
I have already contacted them and asked that they please close the Rancho gates to minimize community mixing.
