Thank you, community artists young and old! I saw one of these chalk artpieces on my walk yesterday and it cheered me up! I hope this idea blossoms all over the city.

Wonderful story but if they do something like this again, please double the distance out of an abundance of caution, and ensure supplies aren't shared.

To all the chalk artists, thank you.

This seems a great, under control, way of artistic expression for young and old alike.

But - in the same Cuesta Park neighborhood, over the last several days - I have seen several groups of younger teenagers, strolling around together obviously oblivious to what the COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICE has issued as mandatory personal distancing. Groups of 8 to over a dozen.

Parents - please monitor your teens and do not let them FREE RANGE at this time.

If you see a group of kids violating the social distancing, with groups of 8-12, for goodness sake, take their picture and post it to next door.
The parents may be 100% unaware when their kid says he's going out alone.
