Why haven't these companies donated their equipment prior to this time? Because they need a tax write-off via a non-profit?

El Camino Hospital Board for years now has been paying its CEOs north of $800,000 a year with the Voice reporting operating profits in the millions of dollars.
My stupid question is why these geniuses never had a plan for a pandemic or a stockpile of respirators and masks?
Thanks for nothing.

Giant corporations donate thousands and get back billions in bailouts. What a great deal. An art. Governments around the globe saw this coming. Just look at the movie Contagion (2011) which is free on demand Xfinity. But our system values profit over people. So what if a few million die before their time in the USA? We have no shortage of people. Thin the herd - some would say. Some like Trump.
