County social workers say children are suffering from lack of support

The children of Santa Clara County are suffering because the social service workers of the county are suffering, workers said at a news conference Thursday.

There is always heartbreak in any foster care system, but the Santa Clara DFCS is one of the best systems in the country.

There is no more money that is why there is a dispute.
Although there are wealthy areas in the county, there are also areas rife with poverty. People living in million dollar houses are standing in the breadlines every week. Any increase in wages goes to cost of living increases such as taxes, food and fuel costs.
