What's in Your Water: Exposing the Pentagon as a "Hidden" Polluter

Original post made by Judy Adams, another community, on Feb 23, 2020

Since the 1970s, the Pentagon has covered up the reckless use of fire-fighting foam
containing PFAS “forever” chemicals that persist in the environment and
our bodies. PFAS are linked to chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Investigative journalist Pat Elder of civilianexposure.org will visit 20 CA cities and military bases in March to expose the military’s contamination of drinking water statewide and the current public health and environmental crisis. The Pentagon knew, but never warned us (see militarypoisons.org for details of his tour). Pat will be joined by Marylia Kelley of Livermore's Tri-Valley CAREs, who will speak about radioactive pollution from military facilities.

EVENT SAT. MARCH 14th, 2-4:30 at the SAN JOSÉ PEACE AND JUSTICE CENTER,
48 South 7th St.
