What great news! It's relieving to hear of someone who recovered without spreading it to anyone else. Good work by the patient to get home and stay home, and thank you to all of the public health workers who have supported him.

The article did not state what method was used to ensure recovery. Was Gilead's Remdesivir used? That's what helped the case in Seattle and is being trialed in Chia.

The content of this story is written as re-assurance to the public. Individually this is great news, but there is nothing to be reassured about. I've personally talked to urgent care doctors and the facts are:

1) No media outlet or health org has done anything to inform the public that no urgent care, hospital or medical facility of any kind has any ability to test for the virus. Yet people keep coming in to ask for the test as if it was readily available.

2) If you have the symptoms and you go such a facility they are not equipped to test you or isolate you. You are just infecting others.

3) Its not been reported, but entire waiting rooms full of patients have been contacted and told to self-quarantine at home because they were in the waiting room when a confirmed case was present. No follow up, totally voluntary quarantine. These people are shopping at your market and working in your office right now! And don't ask if the waiting room was given a high level disinfection afterwards, it wasn't done.

4) Also not publicly disclosed is that patients who have been to the China infected area, and exhibit symptoms are just sent away with a number to call the county.

5) Upon calling the county, if they even bother, they are asked (by inexperienced staff with less qualifications then the referring doctor... (ie "staffing has been a challenge") a few simple questions and most often told there is nothing to worry about, no testing, no follow up, no nothing. Yes, even people who came directly from Wuhan a few weeks ago, and show signs are told there is no concern! Oh, no doesn't seem very reassuring at all.

So the statement that "according to health officials, there is no evidence that the virus is circulating in Santa Clara County at this time" can be explained by simple the fact that they are doing no testing, they are understaffed, and really have no clue or capacity or preparation for what is heading this way. Head in the sand public officials who "don't know much about it", who are "still learning", and "cannot yet test for the virus", and "hope, they'll soon be having nothing to do" will likely get what the want. Because the virus will spread widely, undetected until it’s out of control and too late to actually have something to do about it (other then hide and pray).

If you can borrow the movie Contagion from the library or stream it.

THE ONLY ABSOLUTE CONTROL IS A VACCINE TO GIVE YOU IMMUNITY.

Other than that, they are just hoping.

Let’s do a really ugly experiment regarding the U.S. government. This is a crazy idea, but not impossible.

Say that the wealthy in the U.S. is confronted with an inevitability, a global economic contraction because capitalism will only survive if it can grow, if it can’t it will cannibalize itself.

OK, what is the easiest solution to that problem, The First, simple a significant reduction in population so that as the global contraction occurs, the lost jobs are not noticed because of the dead. And since they are dead, no benefits need to be paid under “unemployment” insurances. The Second, a virus can be used to suspend elections because it allows for Martial Law to be imposed. Especially if the “public health” system “cannot” contain the problem.

Does this sound familiar to us now? What this can do is it can be used to prevent the 2020 election from even happening, and the current makeup of the government can remain in power indefinitely. What advantage is this?

Well, since the Senate just illustrated that many could not be trusted to properly following the Constitutions requirement of impartiality, they are under serious threat of losing their seats. Preventing an election will allow them to stay there. The President has an interest to do so also because even if reelected, if the Senate changes seats significantly enough, there are remaining issues that can be brought up for NEW impeachment charges, and the new senate would likely remove him.

So now we have the coronavirus, which can be used as a weapon against the people of the U.S. by only allowing good prevention and treatment to only those chosen to be worthy of it. The rest are left with inadequate protection and thus it is “weaponized” by political power.

Sounds crazy, but is this possible?

It looks like it is actually happening.
