But scientifically, they have NO EVIDENCE TO PROVE that it is under control either.

This is just a current status, that no new cases have been seen.

That,s all what we should take from this story.

I agree with the above poster. There is no need to let go of any fear yet. There is no optimistic hope that should be considered at all.
Everyone should stay very scared.

80000 died nationally from the flu, maybe we should be more concern with general Principles of hygiene and vigilant about protecting health in general, versus being remotely concerned about a virus that has caused less than 2% of the deaths the flu does every year

I guess no one saw the movie Contagion.

The first thing that needs to be done is all public transportation should be using bleach to clean the stations and the vehicles at least once a week.

All public building should be cleaned with bleach at least once a week, including places like malls and movie theaters and restaurants.

This reduces the possibility of either those who are sick and having symptoms, or those who are carriers that do not have symptoms from spreading the disease more rapidly.

At the same time, scientists have to determine the epidemiology of the pathogen.

And finally a vaccine has to be made to create a positive control system.

All those determined with the disease need to be quarantined and those with exposure to them.

This will take time, and it will spread more before real control is established.

ANOTHER BIG LIE, THE VOTE YES ON MEASURE D PROCLAIMS THAT THE CITY ATTORNEY PREPARED AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS. THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE CITY ATTORNEY WORKS AND IS PAID BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND ONLY REPRESENTS THE CITY COUNCIL AND CITY CORPORATION.
