This is good. I hope for MVWSD poor kids also. There might have been a recent TRUMP DROP in the number of kids who apply for Federal FRSM (Free & Reduced Student Meals) because of the Federal Regulation change in the Dept of Agriculture program. Free FEDERAL food/then no citizenship possible for you or your family! That is what a change in Cabinet-level Regulations can do.
That might be scaring away a lot of Theuerkauf parents. See the MVWSD Board item for Title 1 waiver for TH on the last Bd. Agenda (January 7th).
Our Supervisor Joe - shows his compassion and legislative meddle again.

I'm a senior who lives in West San Jose and pretty much housebound with the threat of the virus, however, I do have energy (as do my friends in similar circumstances) Is there a way we could make sandwiches for the kids and cook other meals for familiews.
My daughter-in-law in Berkeley just made sandwiches and brought them to a line of kids who were waiting for food.
I don't know where I would bring food. Any suggestions?
