For Iowa, every vote counts — even the ones at Stanford

On Monday, one of the first-ever "satellite caucuses" will be held at Stanford's Haas Center for Public Service. It's one of 87 satellite locations -- across the country and abroad.

I find it odd that one can live full time in Palo Alto, work for San Jose, and be registered to vote in Iowa.

Thad, where you vote is a question of domicile, not residence or workplace. Those factors are relevant, but someone who is temporarily in California (even for several years) could still be domiciled in Iowa.
