"Katz has also held managerial positions at Xerox and Apple, along with a variety of other startups."

To Mark Noack: If you were unaware of this, Apple Computer became a publicly-traded company in 1980; Xerox some two decades earlier (in the form it's now known; its origins are older still). So neither was generally considered a "startup" even 30 years ago (indicated above as the beginning of Mr. Katz's work career). Perhaps you meant "other firms," or "and a variety of startups," rather than naming two already-mature companies as "startups."

Anyway, the best of luck to the new executive of a very constructive and widely respected organization!
