State bill faces uphill battle to add peer support to mental health care

New state legislation proposed last week could broaden the roster of mental health workers throughout California, but it may face an uphill battle after back-to-back vetoes by two governors.

What is the cost? Who will pay for it if there is a cost, insurance, licensing, on-going training? How are results measured and by whom?
It sounds like another huge bureaucracy.
El Camino Hospital is not a good model for economic efficiency or good stewards of tax payers' money.
