While natural gas does pollute a bit more than solar electricity, limiting gas in residences will not eliminate using gas.
After dark we do not get solar. Most of our electricity is generated in Moss Landing by burning natural gas. It s cheaper for residents to by the gas than to buy electricity generated with gas.
Until we have a way of storing solar energy for later use the gas is cheaper and safe. Make them put in tankless water heating which is using gas only on demand and pilot lights which are electronic and not burning all the time.
And remember that electricity is not totally safe..ie. PGand E has learned that electricity can cause fires.

Nice!
Only A BIT MORE! And I guess you are claiming that allowing gas will mean we don't need PG&E power lines at all?!? Totally safe from PG&E by allowing gas!
