Joe Simitian is very knowledgable and impressive. To liven it up, maybe some protesters will appear. A bunch of county employees are complaining about the terms of their employment. They could be countered by a group of overpaid - underworked county administrators or lawyers. Better yet, how about Democrat activists vs. Trump supporters? In Mountain View, Trump supporters are sometimes heard but seldom seen.

Supervisor Simitian is an effective civil servant, but these newspaper flyers all these years, how much paper and money is wasted? If he has extra campaign dollars, wish he could hire local young adults to grow civic engagement. If it's franking/mailing privlleges using public dollars, then all the more reason to cut back.

Agreed. They're not quite that dumb.l
Politicians should be required to hold public meetings and Town Halls. I've heard Devin Nunes hasn't met his constituents in years just donors.
