These parents are truly a despicable bunch but it will all blow over as it always does for the affluent, their kids will ultimately go to good schools and grow up to be just like their unethical parents. Anything goes to get what you want right? Works for 45 why not them?

It does not seem to me that 'the parents', even though very affluent, are getting off! This last sentencing seems within the appropriate range. HOPE THE BOOK (on longer sentences) gets dropped on those who go to the effort and expense of fighting 'justice' when they are guilty_as_charged. If we The People need to pay for a long court process, of those that a jury of their peers finds GUILTY? Let the judge hit them with the full mult-year Federal Prison sentencing that seems to be within the scope that the Federal judge is using.
