Excited that the mental health hotline was reported as operational, I just called them (2:20PM).
I received 2 options: to leave a message or call back. Not even an option to "hold"!
The greeting said "there are no counselors available to take your call."
Who announces they are open and then has NO STAFF to answer calls?? What a WASTE of money! Good thing I wasn't truly in crisis but they should be ashamed of themselves for claiming to provide a service and then not being there to help.

Maybe the reason there were no counselors available for the call was that a bunch of turkeys were calling to test the system and tied up the lines, rather than letting the system work for thise having a real emergency.
