Cupertino resident pleads guilty to molesting boys at Sanyu Learning Center in Mountain View

A volunteer accused of molesting two children at the Sanyu Learning Center in Mountain View in 2017 pleaded guilty earlier this month, court records show. He now faces 12 years in prison.

I have often wondered whether places that care for kids tend to attract more pedophile employees than other places. Background screening can never protect against a first-time offender prior to the first offense.

Was any background check done? Of course, there will be no record of an arrest or a conviction before first GETTING CAUGHT. But still check. As to the possibilty of a 12-year prison sentence, follow the case.
