Federal rule change could leave thousands of county residents without food

Three million Americans could lose access to federal food assistance programs under new rules proposed by the Trump administration, including thousands of residents in Santa Clara County.

Many of the comments posted are very short, such as "Don't do this!" and "Implementing the proposed rules would cause more hunger in our communities, especially for working families, children, and senior citizens." Please let the USDA know your thoughts by Monday 9/23.
