Delayed construction permits? Sounds like Rudolph's fault. I even saw an increase in gas at the pump. Thanks Ayinde!

Maybe you are being sarcastic Pablo, but Ayinde Rudolf is superintendent of the Mountain View-Whisman school district (K-8). The Mountain View Los Altos High School District (MVLA) is independent of but collaborative with MV-W. Both districts teach thousands of our local children. Welcome back to school everyone!

Anticipating 4,464 students and getting 4,462. That's an error of only 0.04%. Impressive! Also, welcome back to school, students, teachers, and administrators!

The story implies that Los Altos High only become over 2200 students with this year. But it was over 2200 last year. The district enrollment last year at the first reporting data was around 4400. The increase this year is about 62. It was a very modest growth that was forecast, not some sort of explosion. 80 or so are at Alta Vista.
