Yes, they’ll need to buy more land for increasing demand.....as free spots in safe parking lots with possible permanent bathrooms and showers will obviously attract more people.

Also- there goes a chance of a safe run as a woman alone at the Baylands.

Let it be known to RV dwellers all over California. Come to Palo Alto! They will take care of you, give you parking, and free services!

Thank heavens the NIMBY folks are alert. We might actually stumble into compassion without their clear view of life--you know, I got mine and the heck with you.

Let's see: we want office workers, pool cleaners, home health care workers, counter people in our restaurants, parking attendants, clerks in department stores, school safety workers at cross walks, uber drivers, concierges for apartment buildings, janitors, LVNs, bank clerks, manicurists, weekly house cleaners etc etc etc. available to provide the services we depend upon.

Rents in Santa Clara Valley has gone out of sight and service people cannot afford to pay. By rights the tech industry should be building RV parks with showers, toilets and water hookups, but until that happens, let's be compassionate enough to provide basis services to those workers who ease life for the rest of us.
