Council boosts housing loans for city staffers

For more than a decade, Mountain View has offered loans to help its rank-and-file workers pay for buying a home, but the program hasn't received much attention. For good reason: No city employee has ever applied for one of the loans.

So glad to see this. I requested that the employee loan program get revised a few years ago, but it took it awhile for the study to be done. Hope it helps with retention. Kudos to staff for getting this done.
