Who is this third-party construction company? Can we file a class action lawsuit against them? They must be insured for this kind of negligence.

Clarification to this story: the power outage in Palo Alto today was unrelated to any Comcast work or technical issues. The power outage was caused by damaged equipment in an underground electrical vault at a different location than where Comcast's work was occurring. Power service for almost all Palo Alto Utilities customers has been restored as of 4pm. A few customers will remain without power until around 7pm tonight while crews make necessary repairs. First, you should try suing Comcast, which is required to plan its network to withstand a single link failure. A well designed network can withstand more than one failure.
