Original post made on Mar 28, 2019

The Mountain View Fire Department kicked off Women's History Month with a historic moment of its own, assembling an all-female crew of firefighters for the first time in the city's history.

PC run amok for whatever crazy publicity/political/ideological reasons. HOW does the Fire Department REALLY feel about this gross political interference with their ability to respond? Crews should be chosen to maximize their abilities to respond effectively to all calls, and also to protect themselves and people in danger. Sex is unrelated to ability and protection in dangerous jobs. In other words, crews need to be matched by considering their experience, their skill levels, and their abilities. My guess is that this "crew" suddenly will disappear after it no longer is March. Welcome to the Socialist Republic of Mountain View --- ideology above real world reality.

Bill, Bill, Bill -- PLEASE step away from Fox "News," right-wing AM talk radio, and Breitbart.

Your brain, not to mention your sanity, will thank you for it.

As part of my CERT training for Mountain View, I met one of the women firefighters. I think her name was Jenna. She has the largest biceps of any woman I've ever seen in person. This includes all the women I know at a number of Crossfit gyms across the world. Heck, she has larger biceps than 99% of the men I know. It takes years and years of dedication to build that much muscle. I know because I've been trying lol.

I have no doubt that if I was passed out in my home from smoke inhalation, she would carry me out slung over her shoulder, and then do 100 push presses for breakfast.
