Pedestrian killed on Hwy. 101 at Rengstorff in Mountain View

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the death Sunday night of a pedestrian who apparently was trying to cross the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 at the Rengstorff Avenue interchange.

I was drive south-bound 101 and saw police surrounding a body lying in the middle of the highway. It was immediately odd to me that there was no damaged vehicle nearby. RIP.
