"According to court documents --- Both had taken LSD, a hallucinogen, together at some point before the stabbing." That's about all there is to this case and its prosecutor's charges, unless he was given that LSD involuntarily. Guilty as charged --- and guilty of terminal stupidity (and yes, there are lots of behaviorally stupid students "even" at Stanford The Great). Sounds like his family and defense attorneys are trying to set him up for another "diminished capacity" Dan White "Twinkie Defense", only this time for voluntarily taking LSD,and not just being depressed and stupidly eating junk food. Point of Information: Shortly after the huge embarrassment to the State of CA for the Dan White verdict, the CA very strongly limited the scope of "limited capacity" pleas in CA courts.
