Spare the Air burn ban in place for Monday

A Winter Spare the Air Alert is in place for Monday when burning wood, manufactured fire logs or any other solid fuel, indoors or outdoors, is banned for 24 hours, Bay Area air quality officials said.

Nice how they raise the utility rates, let PG&E charge us for their mistakes and then ban the only other way to keep warm when it gets cold. Welcome to COMMIEFORNIA

Those of us with allergies and respiratory problems that share fences with many of you wood burners are greatly appreciative of the occasional relief from the toxic clouds of wood smoke that regularly blanket our neighborhoods.
C'mon wood burners,upgrade your old heavy particulate-smoke belching units with EPA certified 0 emission units readily available today.
Pellet stoves or natural gas units will function beautifully w/o subjecting your neighbors to your toxic emissions.
