@ Robyn: Agreed. Sending anyone to such a patently useless event is just an expensive political boodoggle. Has ANY good for MV ever come out of these overpriced benefits for MV's favorite bureaucrats? My guess is that it's just another waste of MV's money to reward City Council favorites and supporters.

Perhaps we could invite the key leaders here to meet and discuss key issues; I am sure they would enjoy our climate (physical and political) better than Washington.
PS. I am in Varsity Park; it's not listed in your pull down menue.
