Castro Street could use a high-end pot shop. Nicely designed, good experience, and a fun date night even! There’s plenty of places to get drunk, why not one to mellow out a bit?

@ A Talking Cat -- The law prohibits anyone from consuming pot (smoking, eating, etc.) in a public place like Castro Street.

Besides, 420 Castro (the obvious address) is long since spoken for -- as Talking Cat already knows, demonstrably -- it came up on this forum before (last May with Talking Cat, and earlier in September 2017). So we're rehashing old points.

I'm all for replacing one or two of the current issue plagued bars downtown with these businesses that have been proven to be issue free for the most part, especially compared with the alcohol shops in town. Stores have been in operation in parts of the state for over 20 years and because of laws for hours of operation as well as a different "Element" than the bars attract, makes them better suited to Castro street.

The law prohibits anyone from consuming alcohol in a public place like Castro Street. Yet there are several bars and restaurants that serve alcohol. Why not a pot shop or café where you can smoke inside?
