Red light running and speeding have been huge problems for many years in Mountain View. I am disappointed that this crash data does not show the cause of the collision. Is that data available anywhere? Are the police reports available to the public?

I never ever see any Police vehicles patrolling during the commute in Mt. View. Why is this?

Im always seeing the right turn bike lane jammed up well past the white line segmentation, red & yellow light runners, burst speeding and never a patrol car insight. The only time I ever see any police car is if there's an incident. Other than that the mountain view Police patrols are as scarce as ghosts.

@AllYouCanEat, according CA driver handbook, it is OK to enter the bicycle lane no more than 200 feet before the corner, and white line segmentation has nothing to do with this.
