This is my opinion and I do not claim it to be fact --- just the observations of a highly intelligent "Cynical Skeptic" and Libertarian. Facebook's mission statement & motto used to be "Move Fast and Break Things". They claim to have changed it, but that culture still exists --- driven from the very top of their amoral management. They've broken a lot of things over the years, and the most egregious In My Not So Humble Opinion, are the grossly unethical and deliberately illegal ways it has lied to and violated its customers' legal rights and privacy. Facebook's business model is based upon collecting and covertly sharing customers' personal data with 3rd parties. Since all of my comments are simply "my opinion", I'd call this theft and illegal misuse of customers' personal data. So excuse me if they don't get hammered for their past and present behavior. I think they most richly deserve it. They're just as bad as Uber, IMHO.
