$68 million in bonds requires twice that sum to repay with interest. What is being bought? The story says $28 million for land from Google. The City (Shoreline area) is paying Google for the privilege of having Google employees crowd out other drivers and residents. What a great deal. Now I am thinking GOOD RIDDANCE to incumbent City Councilmembers Siegel and Showalter.. How much more harm will befall the community before they are gone? And "they" means all of them. The vote was 6-0 with one Councilmember who did not seek re-election NOT VOTING.
