New utility launches state's largest solar project

After launching last year, the new South Bay utility -- Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) -- is taking part in what is expected to be California's largest expansion of solar power and storage.

So, how will the energy get from Kern and Kings Counties to the Bay Area?
Whose paying for this?

PG&E still handles transmission and distribution, so utility customers pay for each via those respective components of their bill.
