Ken is a registered user.

Abuses have occurred under Sheriff Smith - but all by male employees. Her opponent - a former undersheriff, was probably more to blame. We need to hear from former judge and San Jose police auditor LaDoris Cordell about why she gave up on Smith.

Our jails are filled with the mentally ill. There is a revolving cycle in this County between our streets, our jails and emergency psychiatric services. Our county holds back millions of dollars of mental health dollars rather than spending them on services. It’s time for a change. I believe John Hirokawa is sincere in his commitment to make that change and that is why he has the support of his peers. He has my vote.
