I have deep concerns for MV going forward. Councilperson Pat Showalter has been voting against allowing MV to be a peaceful place to live. Her votes have not helped the rampant RV issue, with RVs all over our streets. We need a change at the council person seats, so I will be voting Showalter out this November. We need a councilperson that will understand what we, as MVers need and desire to keep our city peaceful. Vote out Showalter.

What is Ms. Kamei's plan for the RV issue in Mountain View?

Candidates should come to the table with solutions to current major quality of life issues like the RV's littering our streets.
They should be able to express them plainly and without vague statements of future studies and such.

**What is Ellen Kamei's plan for the RV's on MV streets?

Why is there no letters about the destruction and vandalism of John Inks' campaign signs?

Vote for Sneaky John b/c someone who is upset with him for being sneaky acted equally sneaky?

No thanks.

Perhaps John vandalized his own signs. Perhaps it’s all a hoax.

If we don’t want this city turning to into Berkeley we must replace the incumbents. Ramirez’s is in lockstep with Lenny, Our only option is to vote for Inks-Kamei-Hicks.

Voters have (or can get) at least a sense of where incumbents stand on most issues. For example, Lenny Siegel publicly supported Measure V (rent control) while Pat Showater and John Inks opposed it. And we also know Lucas Raminez openly supported Measure V. What about Ellen Kamei and Alison Hicks? Don't know. Kamei was among 3 City Council candidates endorsed by landlords in mailings paid with dark money in 2014. She should post right here on this story what she did to support or oppose Measure V. How about Alison Hicks? Anybody have a clue? Maybe candidate Hicks will post what she did to support or oppose Measure V right on this comment string.

Remember which council members-candidates support RV parking on the street's, then vote them out.

Like,

I cannot vote for her as she has not expressed her position/plan on RVs in MV.
Is her plan to kick the can down the street and say they need to "look at the problem more to fully understand it" or some other vagaries which side step an actual PLAN?

Candidates need to clearly communicate their PLAN for RVs before they get my vote.
If we vote out Lenny and put in someone with a "Lets not rush into things" attitude on RVs, we'll be in the exact same boat 5 years from now.

"Meanwhile in Ukraine, on February 15, 1919, a Communist pogrom swept through Proskurov"
Get your history straight, it was pogrom by Ukranian nationalists and not by a communists (actually, a lot of Jews were communists at that time). Here is some info from Israeli site:
Web Link
"Units of local Communist forces, both Ukrainians and Jews, rebelled and attempted to gain control of the railroad station. On the failure of the attempt, Semosenko, hetman of the Ukrainian troops stationed in the city, gave orders to slaughter all the Jews. On February 15th Semosenko's forces marched into the city, methodically killing every Jew they could find"
