Our compassion for these RV dwellers in our city has run out after many years of this. We are attracting drug users-people renting out their RV's as a business-people disturbing the rightful people who live on their property-getting into altercations with police.

We do not want to turn Mountain View into a tent city.

Vote out these people from council who support this behavior.

I wholeheartedly wish I felt comfortable signing my real name to my strong opposition to the re election of Ellen Wheeler to MvWSD. Unfortunately, if I do, Ellen and Ayinde will never meet or speak with me again and essentially I will be blacklisted because that is how Ayinde chooses to lead the district and what Ellen chooses to support as a leadership style. He has instilled such a culture of fear in school staff, district staff, and the board that most are afraid of speaking up to voice any dissent or honest feedback regarding new proposals. Ayinde believes open and honest two way dialogue between the district and parents is a waste of time. He grudingly shoes up to parent meetings when he has to, but would much prefer to just do without dealing with them. In my experience, Ellen does the same. When she comes to PTA meetings or other school events, she rarely interacts with parents or asks them any questions about their school district concerns. When she speaks in board meetings, it is difficult to understand her key points and she often trails off mid sentence, her eyes focused on something Far away on the horizon. She comes across as dismissive of parent concerns and just going through the motions just so she can get re-elected. Why do I care what a retired police captain who lives in Los Altos thinks of Ellen? Does he have kids in MVWSD who are suffering the repercussions of all the bad decisions Ellen has voted for? Please parents and residents of MV, this the year to vote Ellen off the board. There are finally other qualified candidates.

@don Letcher

Once again you pick vandalizing Jonh Inks signs as the issue. Where were you when Hillary's sings were vandalized, or signs against Prop 8? Do you characterize this as hate? Or is only hate when it's your guy. Bet you didn't hear this story on fox entertainment.
