Too little too late. The church has been covering up these crimes for decades. Listening sessions??? Are you kidding me? Has PJ seen the movie Spotlight? This is old news. There should be no redemption for the perpetrators or for those who protected them. Does the Church have special dispensation for pedophiles?

Just another stall tactic designed for the illusion of "dealing with the problem". We don't need "listening sessions" we need actions now which reveal these predators and criminal penalties which put their butts in prison. The problems are well documented and no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt which is always what boys clubs like the Catholic church rely on. This bishop needs to "listen" to what is already on the documents and accusations and proofs. Letting the public vent is not going to fix the epidemic of predation in this religion; nor will venting satisfy any of us who are aware and watching this issue.
