drive for lighted football stadiums at Mountain View and Los Altos high schools. As to my letter, the Voice inserted a reference to an August 2018 article regarding lights. The reference is out of place. I last commented on lights when parents sought them nearly a decade ago. And I made a small correction to my letter which the editor missed. The annual football game under the lights at Foothill College between Mountain View and Los Altos is October 5 - not October 6. Both teams are now 1-2 against weak competition. That is not to say the teams have no good players. A few may get college scholarships for football - but too few to justify all of the injuries.
