This is scandalous.
What exactly do they do to earn that money from residents?
It was a few years ago that a $700,00 loan to a doctor was written off.
Meanwhile our insurance premiums soar.

The insurance industry allows billing and labor costs for all types of medical labor specialists to grow at a rate much faster than cost of living. Billing overcharges to patients and drug costs are wrecking family finances. The labors unions want more of the overly rich business of the health care industry. Obamacare is a great place to be for insurance companies, large hospital networks and doctors to get rich. It is all out of control for patients and even with a good health care plan you can end up very poor very quickly.

@Robyn. What do they do to earn that money? Good question! The police chiefs, fire chiefs, district attorneys for San Jose and San Francisco, the governor, don’t ‘earn’ that kind of money.

@Bill. Labor unions do not represent the executives or board members. Nurses salaries are driven by market conditions. The lowest paid workers got raises of 3% last year. Two Hospital Board seats will be open this year. You can always show up at board meetings and voice your opinion and please vote (the League of Women Voters usually have a candidate forum for hospital board positions).
