Things were nice in Waverly Park all day. Moderate temps & low ozone despite an offshore, easterly breeze. Drove to DeAnza and Stevens Creek in Cupertino this afternoon, and it was far more unpleasant down there. I've noticed that the air quality deteriorates significantly when you cross Hwy 85 headed East on Hwy 280. Guess it's because that's where The Valley really begins in W Santa Clara County. It's always a relief to cross 85 when coming West on 280 during the summer. Los Altos and MV have nice micro-climates.
