it is about time. the old model with cities giving tax breaks to businesses to locate in the hopes of 'stimulating the economy' no longer works. cities have to pay for infrastructure out of taxes and so the citizens foot the bill. If we are to be a company town then the companies have to FOOT the bill. this is the new model. even thought Seattle backed down to Amazon the change in inevitable

Corporations will not be paying their fair share. They would be laughing if only they were human. The top execs are laughing. Remind me to drop a penny outside of City Hall. The City may invest it in transportation infrastructure. And keep the change.
