Caltrain to board bicyclists first in five-week pilot program

Caltrain bicyclists will be allowed first access to bike cars beginning this week in a five-week pilot program to improve efficiency, Caltrain officials said.

It's encouraging to see that Caltrain is capable of making a decision that makes so much sense.

We agree with William. The bike car is the most congested car on the train. Non-bicyclists that want to avoid the congestion can choose any other car. This should reduce congestion and speed up boarding for everyone.
